Tinkerbell Dance Studio™ is a dance series for kids that teaches basic introductory steps to beginner level dancers. The variety of DVDs in this series were specifically designed so every child can find a dance genre that excites them. This series is perfect for ages 4 and up, and with step-by-step instructions and easy-to-learn steps, children will look and feel like real dancers in no time!
In Tinkerbell Dance Studio Ballet, the class starts at the barre (you can use a chair instead). Once Michele introduces 1st through 5th positions, she moves on to Pliés, Tondus, Degajés, Rondejámbs, Passés, and Piqués. After that, the class stretches and moves to center. Next, Michele continues with Tondus, Degajés, Pas De Bourrés, Balances, and Jumps. The program ends with the proper way to bow like a professional ballerina! This fun beginner ballet class is packed with all the basics and great music too! Includes: A free poster; step-by-step instructions; great exercise; instruction by a professional ballerina; and other children in the class who are learning too.
Michele Lundberg has ballet training from Orange County Dance Center, Ballet Repertory Theatre, Dayton Ballet Company, and is currently with the American Repertory Ballet in Princeton, NJ.
